Stubbekobing, seal of the town, 13th century

Stubbekobing (Stubbekøbing, Denmark), seal of the town, 13th century. It depicts a thirteenth-century sailing vessel and shows a double quarter-rudder identical to that on the seal of Wismar. Inscription: 'SIGILVM : CIVUM : REGIS : DACIE : STVBBEREKING'. The cast is mounted on an emulsioned plywood backboard with a label.
