Lyme Regis, seal of the corporation, 1284? It depicts a double-ended ship with a beast head at each end. The planking is in short lengths. By the mast are shown the banners of England and Castile and Leon (for Eleanor of Castile). The crucifixion shown to the left and St Michael to the right. Inscription: 'SIGILLVM : COMVNE : DE LIM'. The cast is mounted on a cardboard backboard with a label.
