Thirrd seal of the town of Lubeck, late 13th century

Third seal of the town of Lubeck, late 13th century. Inscription: 'SIGILLVM BVRGENSIVM DE LVBERG.' It depicts a late thirteenth-century sailing vessel, double-ended with beast heads. A quarter-rudder is slung on the port side. The cast is mounted on a cardboard backboard with a label.
