2nd seal of the mayorality of Bristol, circa 1350. Left Bristol castle 2 towers, each with a watchman, half length to left, blowing a horn. On the battlements, a flag charged with a cross. A ship sailing out with a high forecastle and flag of the Royal Arms of England as used by Edward III. Inscription: 'SIGILL' . MAIORITATIS : VILLE : BRISTOLLIE:' The cast is mounted on an emulsioned plywood backboard with a label.
