King's Lynn, seal of the admiralty court, early 17th century. A man-of-war of galleon build with one tier of guns. A striped ensign is displayed in the stern, the shield of arms of King's Lynn on the main-sail. Inscription: 'SIGILLVM . OFFICII . ADMIRALLITATIS . BVRGI . LENN . REGIS'. The cast is mounted on an emulsioned plywood backboard with a label.
