Edward, Earl of Rutland and Cork, seal of office, 1391-98. It depicts a fourteenth century sailing vessel with Edward's arms on the main-sail. A banner bearing three ostrich feathers is placed in the stern. Inscription: 'S . EDWARDI : COMITIS : (DE : RUTTELA)ND : ET D'CORK ADMIRALI : ANGLIE'. The cast is mounted on an emulsioned plywood backboard with a label.
