Maximillian II, seal of office, 1543. It depicts a sixteenth century sailing vessel, the shrouds set up by lanyards and dead-eyes. Inscription: '(SI)GILLV : MAXIMILIANI : A : BURGONDIA : D(OMINI : BE)VERIS : AC : VERIS : M(A)RIS : PREFECTI'. The cast is mounted on an emulsioned plywood backboard with a label.
