Common seal of Hythe, late 12th century to early 13th century

Common seal of Hythe, late 12th century to early 13th century. It depicts a late twelfth or early thirteenth century sailing vessel, with a quarter rudder on the starboard side. Inscription: 'SIGILLVM : COMMVNE : BARONVM : DE : HETHE'. On a felt covered hardboard backboard with a label, mounted together with SEC0489-498.
