Faversham, 2nd seal of the town, 1272-1307. It depicts a late thirteenth or early fourteenth century sailing vessel with soldiers disembarking. The master is directing the men who are getting the sail into gaskets. Inscription: 'SIGILLVM BARONVM : DE :: FAVERSHAM'.
