Poole, common seal and local admiralty court seal, 13th century. The common seal of Poole used also in the local Admiralty court. It depicts athirteenth century sailing vessel showing fore and after stages beginning to be built into the hull as permanent structures. Inscription: 'SIGILLUM : COMMVNE : DE : LAPOLE'. Painted red.
