Halfpenny token, 1796. Two casts, obverse and reverse (both cracked). Obverse: Bust of Admiral Pellew in a tie-wig and uniform (left). Legend: 'GLORIOVS PELLEW.' Reverse: A female figure seated holding a cogged wheel in her left hand and a mining drill in her right. Legend: 'HALFPENNY.' Exergue: '1796'.
