Halfpenny token. Two casts, obverse and reverse. Obverse: Bust of Admiral Pellew, laureate, in a tie-wig (left) larger than preceding. Legend: 'GLORIOVS PE.LEW'. Reverse: Britannia seated, a shield at her side, a spear in her left hand and a sprig in her right, outstretched. Legend: 'BRITISH TARS'. Exergue: '1797'.
