Tree left, fort with steeple, ship below, on right. Avove fort: 'FORT CHAGRE'. Legend: 'HATH . ONCE . MORE . REVIV.D . THE . BRITISH . GLORY:' Exergue: 'THE . HON . EDWARD / VERNON . ESQ'. (All N's reversed). Reverse: A view of port. Six ships placed diagonally in two lines, all but one sailing to right. Legend: 'BY . THE TAKING . OF . PORTO . BELLO . WITH . SIX . SHIPS . ONLY . NOV . THE . 22 . 1739'. Exergue: 'I W' (all N's reversed).
