Medal cast
Two casts, obverse and reverse, of a commemorative medal. Obverse: Head of Christian V. Legend: 'CHRISTIAN . V D. G. DAN : ET NORV : R'. Reverse: Blowing up of the 'Soleil Royal', her stern decorated with a sun and the motto: 'NEC PLURIBVS IMP' (not unequal to many). Legend: 'NVNC PVRIBVS IMPAR' (now unequal to many). Exergue: 'BRIT : BAT : Q . VIRTUTE MDCXCII' (By the valour of British and Dutch 1692).
