Medal cast

Two casts, obverse and reverse, of a commemorative medal. Obverse: Bust of Charles II, almost full face, hair long, in plain falling collar, wearing a medal on a ribbon round his neck. Legend: 'CAROLVS . D . II .' Reverse: The fleet under sail, Fame with a trumpet and scroll flying above. Inscription on scroll: 'SOLI DEO GLORIA' (Glory to God alone). Inscription on a shell below: 'Anno 1660 Juni 2 Is S.M.uyt Hollant van Sheveling afgevaren naer fyn Conincryken'. Legend: 'IN NOMINE MEO EXALTABITUR CORNU EIUS . PSAL . 89' (In my name shall his horn be exalted).
