Two casts, obverse and reverse, of a commemorative medal. Obverse: Bust of King Charles I in a large ruff, armour and ornamented cloak (right). Legend: 'CAROLVS . I . D . G . MAG . BRITANIAE . FRAN . ET . HIB . REX .'. Reverse: Starboard-bow view of a four-masted ship with topsails and courses set on fore and main masts, sails on the mizzen and jigger masts, furled. Legend: 'NEC . META . MIHI . QVI . TERMINVS . ORBI.' (Nor is that a limit to me, which is a boundary to the world.)
