Tetradrachm of Cyzicus, 410BC
Two casts, obverse and reverse of a tetradrachm of Cyzicus, 410BC. Obverse: The head of the Satrap. Reverse: A prow of galley, on either side a dolphin, a tunny (the mark of Cyzicus) below. Celebrates the capture of Cyzicus (south coast of Sea of Marmora) by the Persian Pharnabazus, Satrap of Dascylium, with the aid of the Spartan Admiral Mindarus.
