Two casts, obverse and reverse, of a denarius of Ahenobarbus. Obverse: Within a pearled border, head of Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus (right). Inscribed (right) 'AHENOBAR'. Reverse: Within a pearled border a trophy on the prow of a war-galley. Inscribed: 'CN . DOMITIUS IMP.' Struck to commemorate Ahenobarbus' victory over the fleet of Octavian.
