Two casts, obverse and reverse, of a French jeton, 1629. Obverse: Richelieu arms superimposed on anchor, cardinal's hat above. cracked. Legend: '* ARMAND . IEHAN . DVPLESSIS . CARDINAL . DE . RICHELIEV.' Reverse: Shipwrecked vessel. '*TELLVS . DECEPIT . ET . VNDA*' (both earth and waves deceived them). Exergue: '1629'. The obverse is cracked.
