Two casts, obverse and reverse, of a French jeton, 1630. Obverse: Richelieu arms superimposed on anchor, cardinal's hat above. Legend: '*ARMAND . IEHAN . DVPLESSIS . CARDINAL . DE . RICHELIEV.' Reverse: Five vessels sailing towards a lighthouse; sun shining above. Legend: '. VENTIS . DABO VELA . SECUNDIS.' (I will sail with a favourable wind). Exergue: '1630'. The reverse is chipped.
