Two casts, obverse and reverse, of a French jeton, 1639. Obverse: Bust of Cardinal Richelieu. Legend: 'ARMAND . IOAN . CAR . DVX . DE . RICHELIEV.' Reverse: Port-quarter view of a ship. In the sky a dolphin surrounded by stars. Legend: 'VECTIGAL IAM TVTA FERET' (now it will bear the dues in safety). Exergue: '1639'.
