Legend: 'BER . D . LAVALETTE, ADMIRAL . D . FR . ET . GOV . DE . PROVENCE.' Reverse: Armour and arms over a field gun, the whole surrounded by flames. Legend: 'HAC . LUCE . VIVANT.' (By this light let them live). Exergue: '1597'.
