Reverse: Port-broadside view of the Argo with the golden fleece hanging from her mast. Legend: 'VICTRIX . SPOLIO QVE . SVPERBA.' (In the pride of victory and spoils). Below: 'MARINE./1694.' Refers to Tourville's victories off Cape St Vincent, Cadiz and Malaga and the capture of convoys in 1693.
