Obverse: Shield of arms of Louis Victor, Duc de Vivonne, surmounted by a coronet, placed on an upright anchor with four arms, and on two crossed batons, the whole resting on a cloak lined with ermine. Legend: 'DE . VIVONNE . DVC . PAIR . ET . MAL . DE . FRANCE . GENAL . DES . GALERES'. Reverse: An upright trident, near a tree-trunk and amid bushes. Legend: 'IDEM . ME . FVLMENQVE . REGIT' (the same hand wields both the thunderbolt and me). Exergue: '.1679.'
