Legend: 'Gold for bronze' (in Greek) 'ITANE . FLANDRIAM . LIBERAS . IBER?' (Is it thus, Spaniards, you deliver Flanders?) The capture of Sluys in 1604 was seen by the United Provinces as compensating for the loss of Ostend later the same year.
