Unknown Naval Officer

An ambrotype (also known as wet collodion positive) photographic miniature. A portrait of an unknown naval officer wearing a peaked cap, jacket, waistcoat, shirt and necktie. The sitter's right elbow is resting on a table with his forearm vertical. He is looking at the camera.

The photograph is mounted behind a gold coloured embossed frame and mount with an oval aperture. It is held within a card (?) and leather case (reference ZBA7486.1).
