Two casts, obverse and reverse of a naval reward. Obverse: Arms of Holland, crowned, with supporters. Legend: 'CONCORDIA RES PARVAE CRESCUNT'. Reverse: Inscription: '1667 De Staten Generael der Vereenighde Nederlanden hebben goet geuonden aen den Lieut. Admirael Van Ghent als en Chef gecommandeert hebben de t'gros van fregatten daer mede het fameux exploit den 21.22.23 Juny 1667 op de Rivieren van Londen en Rochester is int werck gestelt te vereeren een goude Keeten met een Medaille lot een gedenckteecken in syne familie envoor de posteriteil.' (The States-General of the United Netherlands have thought right to present to Lieut-Admiral van Ghent, as Commander-in-Chief of the main force of frigates with which the famous exploit was executed on the 21,22,23 June 1667, on the rivers of London and Rochester, a chain in gold with a medal, as a memorial to his family and to posterity).
