Two casts, obverse and reverse, of an osella of Alvise Mocenigo, 1724. Obverse: A seated St Mark hands a banner to the kneeling Doge. Legend: 'S . M . V . ALOYSIVS . MOCENICO . D.' Reverse: Justice holding a sword and scales, the lion of St Mark at her feet. Legend: 'MELIOR EST SAPIENTIA QVAM VIRES' (Wisdom is better than strength). Exergue: '*1724*'.
