Two casts, obverse and reverse of an osella of Alvise Mocenigo, 1706. Obverse: A seated St Mark hands a banner to the kneeling Doge. Legend: 'S . M . V . ALOYSIVS . MOCENI . DV ." Reverse: Port quarter view of a warship with the lion of St Mark on the poop. Legend: 'EMERGIT VIGILANTE LEONE'. (Appearing upon the waters under the lion's watchful eyes.) Exergue: '*AN.VII*'. Commemorates the fitting out of three Venetian warships on Lake Garda.
