A double-sided cast of a commemorative medal. Obverse: The head of Admiral F. H. af Chapman Legend: 'FREDRIK HENRIK AF CHAPMAN FODD 1721, DOD 1808'. Reverse: Capstan, anchor, rudder and balls, near the sea, two ships in the distance. Legend: 'MED FORSTAND OCH STYRKA' (with wisdom and strength). Exergue: 'KONGL.ORLOGSMANNA SALLSKAPETS HUNDRA ARS FEST D.15.Nov.1871.' (Royal Naval Institution Centenary).
