Medal cast
Two casts, obverse and reverse, of a commemorative medal. Obverse: A woman holding cornucopiae, sitting by the sea shore on which are a jewel case, palette, casks and bails. A ship sailing away in the background. Legend: 'NON SIBI SED ORBI' (not for herself but for the world) . Reverse: Mercury with a Hamburg shield on a rostral column. On its base: 'HAMBVRG . ADMIRALIT'. Naval traophies at the foot of the column, a view of the Hamburg in the background. Legend: 'SPLENDOR PATRIAE'.
