Two casts of a commemorative medal, obverse and reverse. Obverse: Two dragons. Inscription: 'Gold medal awarded [by the] Emperor [of the] Great Tsing [dynasty, for] merit acquired [in the] administration [of the] Navy at Foo-Chow.' (in Chinese characters continued on the reverse).
