Framed photographic reproduction of apprentice indenture form
A framed photographic reproduction. It depicts an apprentice indenture form for Thomas Elwey dated 1778. The form states that Elwey was indentured to Mr Hartly, who was a harbour foreman at HM Dockyard at Chatham. The reproduction has a copy of the form itself and of the front cover. A gold coloured plaque at the bottom of the frame reads “APPRENCTICE INDENTURE FORM DATED 1778”.
