Case
The case is glazed on three sides and the top. The case was made for free-standing display rather than for mounting on a wall. On the floor of the case, either side of the bow model sit two ship's boats. They are comparatively crudely made in comparison with the bow model, and not appropriate to the subject. A plaque is inscribed "M.R. 9755 wall piece model of bow of H M S Centurion 64 guns. Circa 1737.".
