Prince and Princess Chichibu of Japan

A framed photograph print. A formal three-quarter length portrait of Yasuhito and Setsuko, Prince and Princess Chichibu of Japan. The Prince is wearing a uniform, gloves and glasses and holding his cap in his right hand by his side. The Princess is wearing a pale dress and jewellery and has her hair tied up. Near the bottom of both figures are their signatures, as well as a maker's embossed name at the bottom left in front of the Prince.

The Prince and Princess were in Britain during 1937, attending the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, at the time that Commander William L G Adams was working for Naval Intelligence at the Admiralty (HMS President).

The print is housed in a glazed silver frame with an etched chrysanthemum at the top. The back of the frame is covered in green leather and includes a frame stand.
