30 Square metre
Scale:Unknown. A contemporary half block model of a Swedish 30 square metre yacht. The hull is constructed of several horizontal layers of wood in bread and butter fashion(several missing) with a thin black section denoting the waterline with a slightly darker wood above for the topsides. The hull shape has a long curving sheerline with a curved and narrow bow running aft at an angle towards a deep keel where it meets the angled sternpost flitted with a half elliptical-shaped rudder. The stern finishes with a long overhanging counter which tapers towards a slender and small transom(?). The whole model is mounted on a wooden rectangular backboard which is painted black on which is a plaque inscribed "30 Sq. metre yachts. Designed by G. Estlauder, Stockholm. Length overall 11850 met. Length waterline 7715 met. Beam 1980 met. Draft 1460 met.".
