Ecila (1932); Recreation vessel; Motor yacht
Scale: 1:24. A contemporary half hull block model of the motor Ecila (1932). The hull is made in bread and butter fashion from naturally stained and varnished mahogany planks. It has an almost plumb stem with a short foredeck running aft to the bridge accommodation. Aft of the bridge, the bulwark steps down two levels and finishes with a rounded and slightly angled cruiser stern with a rudder and skeg below. The whole model is mounted on a rectangular mahogany backboard stained and varnished.
