Rosamond
Scale: Unknown. A half block model of the yacht Rosamond (1903), made entirely of wood in bread and butter fashion. The hull is painted a copper colour below the waterline with a creamy white to the topsides above and a small gold line just below the deck level running the entire length of the hull. The deck has been painted black and is fitted with a single stump mast and a bowsprit, both of which are finished in natural wood and varnished. The hull shape consists of a long curved raking bow with a rudder attached to the keel which is situated under a long overhanging counter stern. The whole model is mounted on a mahogany backboard with a moulded edge which has been varnished.
