Scale: 1:12. A half block model of the racing Thunder (1938), a racing dinghy made entirely of softwood in bread and butter fashion. The hull consists of three vertical planks of wood glued together. The hull shape consists of a straight and upright stem with a curved and rockered keel tapering down at its deepest part below where the mast would be situated, it then tapers upwards in a shallow and flat line towards a vertical and flat transom. The model has been varnished.
