Minona (1961); Recreation vessel; Motor yacht
Scale: Unknown. Shipbuilders plating model of 'MInona' (1961), a motor yacht. The model is made entirely in wood and varnished in its natural state. The model is made in bread-and-butter construction. The hull has been marked with extensive constructional details which include the size and disposition of frames, plates, decks and waterlines and a number of internal features such as ballast and fuel tanks.
The model is mounted on a plain mahogany backboard on which is inscribed in black ink the number and position of the frames running horizontally under the keel and the yard number '860' at the foot of the bow.
