Warship (1691); Fourth rate; 50 guns
Scale: 1:48. A contemporary model of a 50-gun fourth rate small two-decker (circa 1691). Built plank on frame in the Navy Board style, the model is decked and partially planked. The monograms of William and Mary, ‘W R’ and ‘M R’, feature on the ornately decorated stern and date the model between 1689 and Mary's death in 1694.
