Bolton (1709); Royal/ceremonial vessel; Recreation vessel; Yacht

Scale: 1:32. Contemporary full hull model of the yacht Bolton (circa 1709), built plank on frame in the Navy Board style. The model is decked and includes a variety of fittings such as guns on wooden carriages, a large wooden windlass in the bow and a single stump mast. Measuring 53 feet along the deck and 14 feet in the beam, it had a tonnage of 42 and carried six 3-pounder guns.
