Four Lascars working with the mooring ropes on the forecastle of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger/cargo liner Arcadia (1954). They are being supervised by three European crew members; an officer in whites, the quartermaster in blue and an able seaman in whites with a cream guernsey. Transparencies PCT1528 to PCT1530 were taken on the same occasion.
