Equipment model
Scale: Unknown. A model depicting a lifting derrick used by Captain Thomas Dickinson for recovery of material from the wreck of HMS Thetis (1817). The derrick is made from several pieces of mahogany, which have been both lashed together and secured by metal hoops and wooden wedges. It is also complete with a number of sheaths and has a rounded heel at the base, with two sheaths in cheek blocks at the head.
