A group of seamen on John O'Gaunt (1869). A man dressed as a jockey sits on a horse made of wood and decorated. Behind him two men are holding up a banner reading: 'AYRSHIRE This Horse For The DERBY'. An as yet unattributed caption separate from the negative reads 'Selling the dead horse'.
