HMS Albion (1842); Warship; Second rate; 90 guns
Scale: Unknown. A contemporary half block model of HMS Albion(1842), a second rate 90 gun ship of the line. The hull is carved from a solid block of wood and painted metallic bronze colour below the waterline with black topsides above divided horizontally by two bands of white to highlight the gundecks. Attached to the backboard is a paper label inscribed with text handwritten in black ink but illegible.
