Scale: 1:48. A contemporary half block model of the HMS Cressy (1853), a steam 80 gun, two-decker ship of the line.
Plaques inscribed "Cressy, 80 guns", "Presented by Capt. C.H. Read. Edmondstone. Royal R.........." and "218. Cressy - 80 guns - 1853. Built at Chatham Originally designed (1846) as a sailing ship. She was converted into a screw ship while on the stocks. Sold in 1867. Dimensions: - Length 198ft 5in Beam 55ft.".
