Scale: 1:48. A contemporary half block model of HMS Marlborough (1855), a First rate 131 gun three-decker steam line-of-battle ship.
Plaque inscribed "228 Marlborough 131 guns - 1855 Built at Portsmouth. After service in the Mediterranean became Engineering School in 1877. Renamed Vernon II as part of Portsmouth Torpedo School in 1904. Sold for breaking up, but lost in the Channel, 1924. Dimensions: - Length 245ft 6in Beam 61ft 2 1/2in (see also whole model No227)".
