Terrier (1873); Passenger/cargo vessel; Schooner
Scale: 1:32. A half block model of the port side of the passenger/cargo schooner Terrier (1873), made entirely in wood and painted and varnished in realistic colours and finishes. The hull is polished or varnished below the waterline to reveal the horizontally applied wood used to construct the model, and black above. A part, possibly a figurehead, is detached. Fittings comprise a rudder and what appear to be four notches in the port gunwale, possibly for oars or sweeps. The paint finish is crazed, resembling cracklure.
