HMS Havock (1893); Warship; Torpedo boat destroyer
Scale: 1:48. A half block model of the starboard side of the torpedo boat destroyer HMS Havock (1893), made entirely in wood and painted. The hull is painted dark red below the waterline with a narrow white stripe above and a uniform taupe above the waterline that includes the decks, fittings and equipment. Fittings include long turtle-foredeck, two ventilators; two tall funnels, positioned closely together; a torpedo launcher; and small gun aft on a tall gun mounting. The model is displayed on a backboard painted off-white with a mahogany-stained frame. On plaque attached to top right-hand side of backboard ‘Havock’.
